At Prps, we love working with other designers and artisans to create one of a kind pieces that embody the creative process. This collection is our latest collaboration in our RePrps/Artisans Series, which is a collaborative design program focused on highlighting sustainability while supporting innovative artisans and makers. Atelier & Repairs is the fashion industry leader in the movement to reduce excess production through textile recycling, which is crucial to what we do here at Prps. Taking Prps designs and vintage textiles from Atelier & Repairs' archives, this collection is made up of pieces reimagined and redesigned by the Atelier & Repairs team.
The Prps x Atelier and Repairs collection offers several pieces that are Prps collection ready. As artisan designs, only one of each piece is available, making them extremely exclusive. Atelier and Repairs used their textiles on several pairs of our denim jeans as well as cargo pants. There are several Windsor fit denim jeans here, all with unique patchwork, from camouflage to floral. Their patchwork appears in blocks on pockets and at the front of the pants. Some pairs even feature intricate trim along the side seams. Other items included in this collaboration include hoodies, which are also designed with different types of patches on each. A unique inclusion in our Prps x Atelier and Repairs collection is the Sweat-Set. With a French Terry short sleeve sweatshirt and athletic shorts, these offer the opportunity to own a complete outfit reworked by Atelier and Repairs with patchwork and trim on our original apparel.
